The Patrick Horsman scholarship is a grant to students who have entrepreneurial aspirations. Two students each year are selected to receive the $2,500 award. The scholarship is in honor of Patrick Horsman, an entrepreneur and philanthropist who believed in the importance of education and helping others achieve their dreams.
To apply, candidates should be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university. While grades are a strong consideration, the essay is most important--it gives applicants an opportunity to express themselves and really communicate their desire for entrepreneurship by writing about what it means to them (the importance).
